Guest
Does anyone have experience with repairing / gluing inflatable dinghies. I have a Zodiac that requires a repair to the floor/ pontoon junction. Not hypalon. Interweb throws up a few glues that are not available in NZ.
wheels 543
Burnsco sell a two pot glue for inflatables. It's a small tin and really expensive. But works well. Ideal for a patch or two.
wal 27
and right across the road at Safety at Sea there's a range of Bostik products for the task. Picked some up for a Barrier project but, as it wasn't used, have no feedback

ex TL systems 63
i repaired a 2 inch slash in an inflatable with white bathroom silicon, no patch or overlapping edges just built up the silicon over the hole and smoothed it out with soapy water. its still good over 5 years later, holds air and is quite unobtrusive. Kestrahl 6
Bostik HV999 is what the pro's use. They use it with a additive but it works fine without. you can buy it at blacks fasteners and possibly places like miter 10 mega. Need to use a heat gun.
