rossd 16
I was thinking of getting 4 off 4mm swageless fittings for lifelines but cannot find any. Have tried Fosters, KZ Marine, Tony Osman? at Kumeu, The rigging shop. Anyone know who may have them.
Marshy 30
The Rigging Shop - http://www.riggingshop.co.nz/ He is the agent for Sta-Lok KZ Marine make swageless fittings so odd that you couldnt get them off them? Otherwise try NZ Rigging?
rossd 16
The Rigging shop only import a limited range and have no 4 mm. KZ Marine were making some but only selling a few to mainly visiting overseas yachts so have scaled back abit and have no 4mm either. Will try NZ Rigging.
Island Time 1,246
Hi Ross, I should be able to do those for you, just checking on price. Did you want shackle ends, or D's for lashing? I'll send you a PM with range and pricing as soon as I can... Matt
Guest
People still have metal in their lifelines? How quaint.
rossd 16
Knot Me, What are you going to use on your latest creation?
Guest
A 100% dyneema double braid called Supercable90. A SK90 cooked and tickled core with a SK75 cover. If cruising I'd stay with wire. Don't Ronstan have some compression fittings? I doubt any Ronstan dealer in NZ would stock them but shipments are crossing the Tasman regularly.
