Are there normally mooring available to buy or is that a bit of a long shot? Is there still space for new mooring to be put down. Whats the pricing like? I guess some Crew members are up that way. They're a good start as quite helpful to talk to. Also look on trade me, sometimes listed there. There's usually one or two for sale, not too certain about renting its awhile since I lived there. Mill Bay has the most moorings and the Mangonui Cruising Club is located there. Locals are usually friendly, so try and contact them for more local knowledge. They have just hosted the RNI stopover.
