  1. Are you happy with the loose foot set up.... ?

Were you always set up loose footed or did you make a switch.

If you made a switch, was it timed with a new sail or did you just alter the fixed foot sail and if so what did you learn?

I am getting ready to remove and varnish my boom and am wondering if I should make the change.

And thanks for the video votes...

Could use the track for a bag system to house main?

Had a new main and headsail made, had bags and didnt go to windward,  B and G sails reckoned that was the wat to go,slab reefing, old sail was a bolt rope on the foot, went from short batten to full length.,got beter shape in main and could flatten it,unfortunatly never really got the full use due to yacht going ashore after another broke free and being in its path took us with it. New main/furling head cost close to 3.5k from hyde and nz sail makers close to 5k.  By all accounts most sailmakers get sails cut overseas and just stitch together here and put their logo on? From placing order it was like 3 weeks for main and headsail followed a week later, complete in own bags,hat/belt and tie downs supplied.
Made a huge to difference to performance, not in actual boat spped but able to point.
