    The boat is sitting on the 3rd party's beach causing damage. So I would have thought the insurance company would pay to have it removed.. I always thought that was a part of 3rd party cover i.e the boat sinks in the channel or goes ashore. I am wrong obviously. Luckily I have full insurance: so hopefully if that happens they will fulfil that part of the contract.

    And who is/was the insurer? My insurance is up for renewal: I might want to change..

    Can't say: My boat is glass but that old it is all painted. I have however used it on my much more modern motor vehicles and not had any issues with the lacquer finishes.

    If you are going to go that way then check out this one: http://www.soakncroak.com/page/What_is_soak_n_Croak/ Much better value for money and the same ingredient.. But I am still wary of and don't spray it onto any fabrics that are natural or have cotton stitching. Apart from that works perfectly and hasn't affected any painted surfaces I have used it on. And the results are perfect...

    A Pelorus 25' : However I own one and it is a good little sea boat, easy to handle with lots of room inside for the size.. We enjoy it.
