wheels 543
Does anyone know if that species has a minimum water temp it will grow in?? I was thinking being from the Med, it is obviously used to warm water, although it seems to be enjoying our waters so far. Just wondering if it would survive in Fiordland waters. DrWatson 381
So what would be having the greater effect on the NZ marine environment? Fiordland and, well, virtually anywhere and everywhere overgrown with invasive nasties? Or a few isolated spots where nothing grows? Maybe a few isolated spots with some toxic nasties is a trade off we'd be willing to have? Or should we just quit sailing until the tech guys come up with something more amazingly slippery than it is toxic? Just playing Devil's advocate here...
wheels 543
Or should we just quit sailing until the tech guys come up with something more amazingly slippery than it is toxic? The issue is Boats arriving here from overseas and of course, Ships dumping Bilge Ballast water.
