Island Time 1,246
A bit unusual! My brother is at Stewart Island as part of his round the South Island trip. This morning a Great White came up to the back of the boat and bit the front of his dingy. Probably smells of fish - he's a mad keen fisho and diver. Pics and GoPro footage when he has sufficient bandwidth again. I've heard of crocs doing this, but never a shark - that I can recall?? Oh yeah, you can see his track, a bit of commentary, and some earlier pics on http://my.yb.tl/SouthernCross
John B 106
Can't wait to see that IT. We had a couple of Bronzy sightings close up again this year but those things down there must be terrifying. Hey he's probably onto it but that TC off Queensland is being forecast to die, then reform off the coast and track toward Stewart island by about next weekend. A long way out and I'm sure it'll change , But I'd want to know and be watching it. In fact I will be because it could easily divert and nail us here anyway.
