Young Entertainer 59
Got an old wooden optimist that I have stripped back to bare wood, now starting to think about what to put back on. Going to spray but wondering about weather I should do two pot or will he boat flex to much? Seems to be really well built and doesn't seem to have movement in any of the joints. Also any recommendations on where it get undercoats and paints from in AK?
Changed 10
Durapox then some clears in the last coat. Great sealer, great undercoat, nice sheen in the finish. Sands beautifully.
boatpaint 0
Hi, If the joints are solid and well glued 2 pack is good for straight plywood. 2 pack will last longer and retain gloss longer. single pack will still last quite a few years, being an optimist you might want to change the colour or sell the boat before the paint would wear out. Have a look at website boatpaint.co.nz . I do have some 2 pack in a few colours that I can give you a good deal on. welcome to give me a call or email, I'll do my best to help you out.
