Black Panther 1,591
Kind of an S shape. Important to have correct rope diameter as the clear is tapered and grabs the rope
madyottie 82
From memory isn't it up through the recess, around the groove and then under the hook bit in the middle? Its just a friction lock, doesn't self tail (tried that when I was a kid, I think the owner recovered it without a big knife). Might be different on the bigger winches. madyottie 82
Dont seem to have that button. I only have a smartphone Scroll to the bottom of the page, click on "use full version" and you get all the options. Once you've uploaded, switch back to mobile version unless you're a glutton for punishment.

Black Panther 1,591
The bigger one has a different cleat. I had them for halyard winches on the cav32. Perfect for the job. Also the little for reefing. Also perfect for the job.
