Farr44 0
Hi, I have a triple-skin Kauri yacht and I am looking for a seriously competent boat builder to undertake inspections and maintenance on major structural components such as keel, rudder post, prop gland etc. I am based top of the South Island and local boat builders seem to be geared up mainly for light maintenance only i.e. painting and antifouling etc. Can anyone recommend a boat builder anywhere in NZ who would be well experienced and qualified for dropping and inspecting keels, rudders, props and maintaining/replacing them? I've not had great experiences with boat builders locally and really need to find one who will be able to get it right first time. Any thoughts?
