DrWatson 378 Posted November 11, 2010 Share Posted November 11, 2010 Can I get a hard white antifoul somewhere to use as a bootstripe at the water line? looked at altex online and only find semi-hard in black I'm not particularly worried about finish, but on a mooring the chop spreads that green stuff a long way up the topsides. wheels 543 Posted November 11, 2010 Share Posted November 11, 2010 Use a white AF for Aluminium. i.e outdrives. That is non-copper based and will not go green. You will not get a "hard" AF. There is actually no such thing anymore like the BT of years ago. Apply a good couple of coats. I am surprised no one has tried to come up with a purpose made boot topping. I guess because it is such a small area, you don't use much and thus they don't sell a lot to make it worth while. Link to post Share on other sites
