SanFran 12
Anyone know of the best way to remove abrasions to compass glass? Thinking of cut and polish paste with a buffer tool?

I have used Cerium Oxide to successfully remove scratches on my windscreen from the wipers when the rubber came off. shop around - but here's a random Google link - https://www.glassstation.co.nz/products/cerium-oxide-100g

Rgvkiwi 15
Crc headlight polish is the best headlight polishing creme I've found. One would think it would work in this situation too. Interested to see how you get on.
Island Time 1,235
Once for a really badly weathered acrylic compass dome I used wet and dry sandpaper. Started with 400, worked down to 1200 (or maybe finer, it was a while back) and eventually to cutting compound and polish. Came up like new.
