malcolmdaniel 0 Posted June 13, 2023 Share Posted June 13, 2023 I have the original wooden Noeleda 24 trailer sailer used as plug for the fibreglass boats. I was told it was built in NZ in 1971 or 1970. It has a lifting keel as do the fibreglass versions albeit a different design. I am seeking to find if it is the earliest lift keel and historical from that point . Are there any trailer sailers built before that with a lifting keel in NZ or Australia ? What year was the midnight 21 first built with a lifting keel. I have seen one advertised for sale in NZ in the 1960s but can not confirm any date. Are there any others either here in NZ or Australia ? Quote Link to post
