Crocket 12 Posted March 3, 2011 Share Posted March 3, 2011 Shouldn't be admitting this, but I've been in really quick fizz boats before, to the point of leaving the chase chopper behind. Lifejackets and helmets - definitely mandatory, but harness - no way. If it all turns pear shaped in an open boat, you need to well away from it before it lands in the water if it happens to be upside down at the time. Its quite common for drivers and/or co drivers to be spat out at high speed. They are not well, but at least they still have a head. The driver is always attached to a kill switch.
