Guest Posted January 7, 2012 Share Posted January 7, 2012 Pelagian has just got back from a two week cruise, now the work starts again, two days before the family cruise she had tanks out, New batteries being fitted, engine out and rebuilt. Now we are back we have a 3 page list of other jobs to be done, I think she will not sail again until a week before the start as all spare times will have to go into clearing the list Link to post Share on other sites
Guest Posted January 17, 2012 Share Posted January 17, 2012 Update On the prep for pelagian 1) Diesel tank is out still at the engineers getting pesky leak fixed, All fuel lines and filler pipes have also been replaced, 2) All rope clutches have been removed and serviced, 3) loo has been replaced, inc all pipes 4) Lee clothes were fitted saturday Saturday we hope to to refit diesel tank, Fit new Prop, and replace all remaining running rigging, Get sea talk system working properly. We are hauling waitangi weekend, to Anti foul, and service winches, check all deck fittings are sealed and secure, Basically go over whole vessel from stem to stern and replace skin fittings. Guest Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 New Prop was fitted today and hopefully deisel leak has been sorted, we also fitted more harness strong points in cocpit and repaired rope cluches, the small water tank will be re fitted tomorrow, Anivarsery weekend we will head for a sea trial ( aka cruise ) before slipping at westpark on waitangi weekend Matt Has been completeing his medical cert this weekend, Nearly there Link to post Share on other sites
