Great job - pretty much a complete rebuild!

 

Thanks :) Yeah almost.. I couldnt be bothered re-doing the bottom, If i were to do that, It would of been easier to build a new one

And as for that, put it this way, I finished the boat thursday, nationals started friday, so no, and it was a good job, First 2 hours out sailing on saturday my rudder played up...

Ah Picitchewers That is so much better Stirling effort I burnt the old 3.7 I had so I applaud the effort you have gone to.

Well done.

For anyone whos interested.

Theres a couple of builds going on thanks to daryl who has worked his butt off to try and start a class over there!

never sail...geez that's a bit harsh. since feb I have sailed every Sunday weather it be at the club or the north islands but last oct-dec it was hard coz I had a break down every Sunday to go to since the sprint regatta we had. maybe next season i will try to get out more.

 

so people what can we learn from my experience, DON'T get a job as an agricultural engineer -because you don't get any time off (to go sailing)... :thumbdown: :thumbdown: :thumbdown:

3.7 Will be on display at the huchwilco boat show in a couple of weeks! If you wanna see these cool little machines, go have a look!

 

Classes include Weta, Optimist, P Class, Javelin, PT, 420, 12’ and 18ft skiffs, RSX, Laser, 3.7, Starling, Zephyr, Elliott, Mistral, Jollyboat, Phase II, OK, Sunburst, A Cat, Europe and Splash and two classes especially for disabled sailors: the Liberty and the Skud.

 

These will all be on display there, with a really nice 3.7 being on display! There will be a representative from the class there each day.
