Guest
Could it happen here? http://www.sail-world.com/cruising/inde ... 878&rid=11 ( I wonder if Sail World were responsible for the headline - Move to licence USA boaters heralds greater safety - or did they just cut and paste?) Murky 1
It does herald greater safety for revenue streams and administrative jobs. If you're into that it's all good.
Guest
The children were trapped in the cabin of a 34-foot yacht called the Kandi Won when it flipped and sank That's the whole story? Was it a ballasted 34 ft yacht? I'm struggling to think of some form of operator error that would cause a 34 ft yacht to capsize. Or was it knocked down then flooded? Or was it actually a power boat, or a multihull, those can actually capsize. or was it a trailer sailor (34 ft?) Makes no sense to me. A better headline might be "Knee Jerk Reaction by Know Nothing Politicians".
Brendon 0
I wish they wouldn't use the term Yacht to describe this
