Battleship 100
Looks like Uroxsys has been bought up by Awl-craft who promptly doubled the price, anyone used it? Was not to bad at $79 per liter but now $160 per liter, is it worth it?
John B 106
It has some good attributes. It retains the woods colour much longer than traditional varnishes, in fact in my case to the end of its life ( which is about 4 years, maybe 5). The other thing is that it is relatively easy to get off at the end of its life, which is what I'm doing now. I won't pay that for it though.
wheels 543
Awlcraft is owned by Akzo Nobel, who also own International, Dulux, Sikens, Hammerite to name just a wee few. They are a huge company and in the Fortune 500 list. If you want to know what else they own, http://www.akzonobel.com/brands_product ... index.aspx I have used some of the rustoleum paint and have been very impressed. I have not used this particular one, but if it is anything like the rest, it would be well worth a try. http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/boats-m ... 036375.htm
Taniwha 0
Iv'e used it it's a good product, you can get it direct from the factory out east tamaki. if you apply enough layers it's tough as sh*t, ive seen it on a boat that's been out in the sun for at least a few years and still looks good. I guess it depends on how much it costs in relation to other products. L
