Dambo 44 Posted December 4, 2013 Share Posted December 4, 2013 Hi, does anybody have an old Maxwell 20 (the really old, non-clutch model) I love these old 2 speed winches but I made the classic mistake of trying to service them on the water and... yeah. So I need 'a' pawl. I know how much they cost new (from the holder of parts in Australia) and am hoping to find one cheaper here. Just PM me - cheers Link to post Share on other sites
Scubash 0 Posted December 4, 2013 Share Posted December 4, 2013 I have some, but they are in use.... sorry... We had a similar mistake happen when installing them and lost a baring overboard. The worst was it happened a couple of days before the Coastal so we had to overnight the part.... Link to post Share on other sites

Cloughy 0 Posted December 4, 2013 Share Posted December 4, 2013 If you don't have any luck locally you could try these guys who stock or make spare parts for pretty much any winch that has ever been on the market. I bought some springs and pawls from them a few weeks ago for my Barlow winches that I couldn't find anywhere locally. If your part isn't on their website just email them with your enquiry.
