Any support for starting the solo multis with the open multis instead of the keelboats? Could still use elapsed times for line and handicap placings for the soloiq series. Would ease pressure on the start line and add a couple boats to the multi fleet. Just a thought...
Thanks for all the feedback. He bought it back in yesterday and managed to get someone to take a look at it. Turns out it was an incorrectly sized alternator belt making all the noise, and the tachometer running off the alternator giving the impression the revs were dropping. Quick fix and back out.
A mates Volvo 20 something in his cruising yacht is making a screeching sound and losing power at 1400 revs. Any thoughts on where to start? He is out in the gulf with his family and wondering if he should come back.
No picture before we put beams on, but arms of trailer slid in on rollers until hulls met in middle and pinned in place. Hulls sat above wheel arches. Trailer was very easy to manipulate to line hulls up for beam attachment. It was a fairly simple arrangement that would scale down pretty well I would think.
Don't know what brand/size, but bites well and held my 10m, 3.5t cat no problem. Didn't fit alongside my prod so got a shiny new one.
By tender I mean best offer of booze or what have you, or failing that, best sob story,
Thanks for all your feedback on this. We have gone for a 200W panel from AA Solar in Silverdale. Judging by the comments here this should be heaps for what we need. Now for the fridge...
Can anyone give me a quick run down on solar panel set-up for gulf cruising? What size panels? What to buy, or more importantly what not to buy? We will be wanting to run a 12v fridge and basic electrics off 2x 12v batteries for no more than a week at a time.
