  1. Hi all I have a Whiting 26 Quarter Tonner named "Sweathog" moored at Little Bucklands Beach in Auckland. I used to race but am in chilled out cruising mode now! I often have space for a few extra crew. I run regular weekend day sails operating from Bucklands Beach. Overnight trips are also an option if people are keen. If you are interested in finding out more, please message me your email address & mobile number. iangabriel1968@gmail.com 027 457 8220 Thanks Ian
  2. Hi I've just sent you a private message. Cheers Ian
  3. Hi Lukas Thanks for your reply but I don't think you have read my information properly. If you scroll up to the photo of the boat & just above that is my message to you which says I have a Whiting 26 Quarter Tonner named "Sweathog" moored at Little Bucklands Beach in Auckland. I hope that answers your question. If you would like more information, please message me with your email address & mobile number. I will then send you more information. Thanks Ian
  4. Hi Clara. Thanks for the compliment! Are you interested in sailing with us or do you just like the boat. If you might be interested in sailing. Please message me your email address & mobile number & I will flick you some email. I have attached a hotted up photo of Sweathog after Graffix Art redid the graphics for me at last haul out.

    Moonraker 17

Yes I used to own a Moonraker 17. It came with the Moonraker 17 decals on the sides so pretty sure it was legit.

  9. Hi Sophie. Thanks for your post on Crewbay. I can't see a mention of where in NZ you will be based. If you are based in Auckland then you are welcome to come sailing with us. My name is Ian and I have a Whiting 26 keeler named 'Sweathog' moored at Bucklands Beach, Auckland. I used to race but am in chilled out cruising mode now! I often have space for a few extra crew. Unfortunately my boat is purely recreational so this is not a job offer but I am happy to teach if people want to gain experience I run regular weekend day sails operating from Bucklands Beach. 20. Marina berth found. Thanks for all the replies. The power of social media!
  21. Hi all, my marina plans over Christmas fell through. Has anyone got an 8m or larger berth for rent either in BBYC or HMB for my 26 foot quarter tonner "Sweathog" please? Happy to pay the going rate. Looking for any dates between 27th December & 15th of January or any dates amongst those. Thanks Ian Gabriel iangabriel1968@gmail.com or 027 457 8220 BBYC member.
  22. Steve Pennington from Boatfix. He is on Auckland's North Shore in Glenfield so you would no doubt have to take the boat to him. Tell him Ian from Rubbermark Industries Ltd in Manukau City recommended him. An outstanding guy!
  23. Awesome thanks for the clarification waikiore. At least I know that I am not looking for the rusty yellow one now. Cheers Ian
  24. Thanks for your comments. I did see it being used to tie a frigate up to when they were decommissioning the Canterbury & Wellingon (if I have the names right) I am talking years ago though.
  25. Hi Sudden5869. Thanks for the update. It appears that no one has seen the steel barrel recently so maybe it has been removed temporarily or permanently.
