What a wild five years I've had 😃 but it's time to turn my focus to something new. Boat's been listed on Facebook-land for a few weeks but I've had a few recent messages saying they hadn't seen it, so expanding the reach of my listing to make sure I'm capturing the NZ market without paying exorbitant TM fees. I'd love to see the old girl stay in New Zealand waters but it is not looking good. If you're keen to keep the multihull spirit strong in our fair country, please reach out! https://www.facebook.com/groups/196548290924954/posts/1550698342176602/

Hi! I’m a 28 years old from Argenrina looking to volunteer to start learning sailing. I don’t have experience but looking for it. Only know some basics. I’m really fast learner and autodidactic, but to learn first I need a boat and a captain where I can learn from. I can pay my food and expenses if necessary. Also, I can help in maintenance tasks, as I have experience in car smash repair, construction and more. I really can help in exchange of learning sailing which is one of my dreams. Also, I’m ready to start now if needed Thanks!

Hi Everyone, I have a Yacht Trailer to sell. Built i'm told for an SR26 with a lifting keel, but currently setup for a fixed keel Farr 727. https://www.trademe.co.nz/Browse/Listing.aspx?id=2211630249 I'm hoping it will get some good use. What a difference being able to do a couple hours each night in the driveway, instead of rowing out to the mooring and then remembering the thingy still in the back of the car.

We are looking for a reliable paid volunteer to be support boat driver to: ~ Man our 5m inflatable ribs and keep a watch on our dragon boat teams as they train each night. ~ Assist in the unlikely event they capsize. ~ Remind them of the Rules of the Road at Seat (all have had formal training). ~ Identify and communicate hazards to the Steerer. ~ Setup and pack down ~ Keep training gear in orderly fashion ~ Report any equipment repair requirements ~ Daily motor flush. Other than that it's sitting and enjoying the water and sometimes take a coach on board to do a bit o

SAILONLINE RACE START: Sailonline is delighted to be hosting the virtual version of this year's Coastal Classic New Zealand classic race although instead of our trusty Seacarts, this year sees us racing the Young 11 polar. Sailonline sorely misses SOLer yachtyakka who regularly raced the course on Promise and who had been readying the Pied Piper, BeepBeep for racing this year before his early death. Cast a thought to the skies and yakka’s memory as you race up the coast this time. Sailonline's Race Description: With the N Hemisphere sailing season virtually over, racing in New Zealand

Pierce Wins 2016 Young 88 Single Handed Champs A brilliant Westerly breeze and clear sky greeted the BBYC Race committee as they setup early Sunday morning. The 2016 iteration of the Mount Gay Rum Young 88 Single Handed Championships is round one of the Mount Gay Rum Young 88 123 Series. Eleven boats lined up for the honour of first on line and the awesome Bruce Elliott Memorial Trophy – and the bragging rights that come with it. By the start of Race One, the fleet was ready, some even managing a bit of practice before hand… The sound of the start gun saw a very modest start by Yo

Hello sailors, I recently bought a share in a 40ft Catalina, Nomos, and sailed her up from Wellington to Auckland. Now I need you to help me race her! Based in Westhaven Nomos is a cruiser-racer, well equipped and in good condition. She's not a racing machine, but she sails really well, is comfortable and with a good crew she can win. If you have some racing experience, want to race for fun and make new friends please join me! I am looking at racing on Saturdays from the RNZYS and would be open to mid-week racing. I will ask for a participation of $25 to a crew fund to keep he

Hello everyone, I'm looking for some people to go sailing with on a more or less regular basis. I live and work in Auckland - so I'm available during the week in the evening and most weekends. I've got 5 weeks sailing experience [2 weeks open sea between the Croatian islands and 3 weeks confined water]... so I'm not able to sail myself but at least know the basics. I'm also open to help with the boat [maintain, repair, whatever is needed] - since I like working with my hands and it can never be a bad thing to learn such stuff =)... So if you go sailing in the Auckland region and could need
