piebuss 0
Just read the sailing instructions. Entries closed on Friday can I still race? I'm all paid up and everything
Guest
Yes, that was a threat so at least somebody would enter before the start, what we need is time for Mark to do the handicaps and courses, he will call when entries close for real. You can always get me a rum afterwards, that might help

TimW 1
what an awesome fleet. maybe matts pt cd give the wetas a fright
Clive 13
Maybe awesome, maybe not, these are the rules people. A boat (not limited to multihulls) may race open (any sails) if they notify myself (markm@racetrack.org.nz) by midnight Tuesday 20 December or by posting there intent here by the same time. .... Tigre will go unrestricted... well... apart from the limitations of the skipper that is!
Cameron 76
I'm glad Mariner is your sponsor... Those courses will mean you need to keep a sharp lookout with lots of boats going in opposite directions in a small area !
markm 30
I know, problem with a light easterly forecast at this time of year is there's a reasonable chance of a SW sea breeze on the inner harbour, NNE to the north of Rangi and nothing in the area between. Wanted to avoid sending people up the channel for that reason, may not happen but wouldn't be surprised if it does. Could have shortened down the courses by a couple of miles to avoid some of the congestion problem but that didn't seem to be too flash an option either. Add in having to set a course where short and long get similar proportions of upwind, downwind and reaching so you can score both courses together, length being proportionately about 30% longer on the long course and your options become very limited, the current course isn't perfect, but I can't figure out anything else that doesn't have worse flaws. Guest
The lovely Mount Gay Lady wants to go for a sail - who will volunteer (pretty sure she will bring at least one bottle of rum as a bribe). Please call me on 021 760 621 if you can help as I'm about to leave the computer.
