Lost kite

We lost a bagged kite off the boat today. White assy sail number 7593. Bottle of rum reward for safe return 😀

Saw it floating east of Orakei wharf, decided it wasnt a person and had a bit on ourselves so carried on... sorry

Ah thinking now that would be where the black chilli bag floating by Bean Rock came from? Someone joked it had beer in it and we should have grabbed it - turns out it was probably true!

Georgia asked me about that, it was full of beer. Fell off the back of a Magic 25, not the one that lost its rig though, they kept their priorities straight and salvaged the rum.

 

I saw the bag float away, but seeing as how we were rigging up with coastguard at the time to pull the boat back upright it wasn't high on our priority list either
