Crocket 12
That's gotta hurt! Had something very similar happen to me after rounding a mark on a Y88. I was up front getting the headsail down and the bow went under enough to wash me back through the lifelines. Luckily I grab the sheet and as I went through, I got bounced back over the top and landed on the deck beside the cabin. It happened so fast, the only way I knew it had happened was that I was totally wet and the sail was wrapped around the lifelines with me still holding on to it. Nobody saw and nobody believed me. The joys of a bowman. I'm sure a lot of them has at least 1 swimming story.

Dambo 44
(one Wednesday evening last summer) wave caught me and the spinnaker, sucked under the jib with said spinny, just caught the safety lines - much swearing as I struggled to get back on board, seemed like a long time before the skipper asked "where's D?"... we still got it up on the jybe
