Marshy 30
Anyone got a sunburst kicking around their back yard gathering dust? Im looking for something to get our 5yr old out on the water sailing when we cant use the big boat etc. Happy to do a project on it so most things considered...
Dambo 44
My brother-in-law is talking about selling his one - he spent the last year restoring it, so it's pretty nice - I'll ask him or direct him here.

B00B00 310
It really seems like the sunbursts are staging a big comeback. Im currently in the middle of a sunburst project and I know of at least 4 other people who have just brought one as well. Im looking for a second hand main if anyone has one. will build one eventually but don't have time or money right now. Marshy we should all get together once we have them going. Kiteroa 8
Yeah, they've become popular all of a sudden!? 3 guys at Southern Spars have them now. I think it's because since the schools dropped them in favour of the 420, they have become cheap enough to actually be really good value learn to sail boat to teach the kids. BooBoo, we're planning a Southern Spars staff dinghy race for a few weeks time. We have enough boats in the company now to make a good fleet. Not just sunnies, anything with a centreboard can race in this one. Very casual and run on handicap, probably out of Taikata as it's close to Southern. Come along if you have time.
