for all those in and around auckland on swing moornings: where do you go when you've got more stuff than you care do move back in forth in the dinghy? i.e., what are the best spots that are either public, or effectively public if you're quick about it?

cheers all

Paying for a one-nighter on a marina every so often probably wouldn't be the craziest idea either - plug into power, get stuck into the squabs and the tricky corners with a vacuum cleaner, run a dehumidifier overnight, all those other jobs that it's easier to do when the boat isn't bouncing around so much, fire a hose into those nasty little areas of the cockpit lockers that grow mould...

The DYC jetty is fixed lumber. If anyone is around it's nice to ask as the odd one gets a bit twitchy.

Stanley Point has a jetty. Again prone to wakes but otherwise OK and public usable.
