Island Time 1,252
Is that a 4 stroke 20hp at 46 KG? If so, that is getting way lighter and better!
ScottiE 174
Yup
Adrianp 120
They may be 46kg dry but by the time you add oil and extra weight for long shaft - they get "busting a gut" heavy! Nice, smooth and quiet through.
Island Time 1,252
46KG is Heavy to manhandle. Lighter than it was, but still too much for a tender anyway. My 15hp Merc 2 stroke is 32KG, and that is about my max to lift on and off the dingy onto the boat if it's a bit choppy. But good to see the weights are coming down. waikiore 410
Yes that weight sounds great, I have three hondas and my 8hp long shaft is past 50kg pushing a 25' keeler to almost seven knots but very economic and charges battery, manual start though. Also have a 20hp suzuki which is very impressive, self powered electronic fuel injection manual start though as well.
