Electric Start Outboard Engines - what battery?

Recommended Posts

46KG is Heavy to manhandle. Lighter than it was, but still too much for a tender anyway. My 15hp Merc 2 stroke is 32KG, and that is about my max to lift on and off the dingy onto the boat if it's a bit choppy. But good to see the weights are coming down.

Yes that weight sounds great, I have three hondas and my 8hp long shaft is past 50kg pushing a 25' keeler to almost seven knots but very economic and charges battery, manual start though. Also have a 20hp suzuki which is very impressive, self powered electronic fuel injection manual start though as well.
