ballystick 79
Who has some good tips and products for cleaning dodger clears apart from replacing them, mine are getting a bit hard to see clearly through them, a few scratches but not fogged up.

Vorpal Blade 89
How old is the dodger? If the clear is getting cloudy on the dodgers first life cycle then spend the money and replace the clear. They typically last 5-7 years in our UV. If the dodger has already had a window replacement you could change the clear again but the base fabric will at this stage be not very waterproof and need reproofing on about a 3 month basis just to keep the rain out - basically its buggered and you are wasting your money, get a new dodger. ballystick 79
Thanks for the info, I will see how it goes. My judgement is that it's not ready for replacement yet, maybe in a couple of years as it has scratching from folded up with the dodger folder down.
Steve Pope 253
Plexus is another product that is the same or very similar to Vuplex, costs a bit more than Vuplex though.
ballystick 79
I used a Meguiars restore product from Repco that did a good job, cheers!
