Guest
The boat I want to use, the boating public of NZ willing, would need to start about 2pm to have any hope of making the finish in day light or if soft wind, breakfast the next day I Can't beleive no one has taken this obvious troll, OK... So KM, are you refering to Suburban Reptile specifically or just R930's in general? Next you'll probably try and convince us its not infact a R930 with such performance but some sort of steel ketch... So who beat whom over the line last encounter and Yes, big steel, a heavy one with sh*t sails and a bottom that makes ZZ Top look like a babies bum. Weather is fecking with programming horrendously at the moment. I hate Decembers with a passion.
Clipper 343
When is the cut off date for entries? I'm keen, but the weather has not been playing ball these last few days now has it....
Guest
10 am Wednesday, but you have to buy me a rum on the night.
Cameron 77
I'm feeling the need to add ten minutes to a start time as an example that lower than an Australian snakes belly does not go unnoticed. PS. Which boat are you on Cameron, should I wait for a Hard Labour entry or should I just randomly add five minutes to Azure as well? Well... I'd add 10 min to Revolution and 5 to Azure as well (can't be too careful you know). I heard there was a spare spot on Fun n Games ? I think it says alot about the high calibre of sailor on that vessel in that it is the only boat where the handicap would go down if I stepped aboard ! H.L could well be a entry. We will negotiate a handicap (i.e bribe and corrupt the handicapper) but leave our entry late so that the Left leaning, tree hugging, socialist Union members who have nothing to do all day other than complain and whinge don't have time to organise a protest prior to the start. markm 30
last updated : 22 December, 07:30 Okay, well the actual weather will no doubt make a mockery of my courses and given the current forecasts, it's quite hard to do 'interesting' courses anyway, however, for better and worse and all that : Short course, Starting from the line being a line between the Westhaven Tower and the ODM (outer distance mark), rounding Northhead Buoy (starboard), Orakei Buoy (starboard) to the finish being a transit from the Westhaven Tower, through the ODM to the Northern side of the harbour. Long course, Starting from the line being a line between the Westhaven Tower and the ODM, rounding Rough Rock Buoy (starboard), Orakei Buoy (starboard), Resolution (starboard) to the finish still being a transit from the Westhaven Tower, through the ODM to the Northern side of the harbour. markm 30
Yes, well perhaps I did forget to mention TVS does two laps. Nonetheless, that's a start time appeal Cameron and I'll look forward to my dozen beer, about four degrees will be fine.

Guest
Just had an email asking if we would accept a Tornado, of course - this ain't the Olympics.
Guest
Just received this via email also, organize your transport if you planned on having too much Please please make an effort to deter people from driving home after the race. Last year after the crew.org race my partner drove home and nearly killed himself on the harbor bridge. Sometimes boys just need reminding!
Guest
Most of you are honest, but a handful don't seem to have paid, depending what mood I'm in after the race I could always match the payments against the entry list and publish the names of those who "forgot".
