Iridium Satellite phones

I would buy a worlwide prepaid sim card online from USA. The price is around US$1.30 a minute and you can call anywhere and no other activation or monthly fees. Many operators charge around $30 a month and a $50 for activation which is allready $140 in 3 months and you haven't made a call yet. The price per minute is still quite high and almost as much as the prepaid sim card or even more. You can top up the prepaid sim card easily even from a remote location.

I have a used Motorola 9505A with the data-kit if you are intrested in a used one. It was last used on the two handed Round North Island Race.

We can offer you some prepaid cards in denominations of 50 75 200 500 3000 5000 minutes. The 500 is valid for 12 months, and can be refreshed if you buy some more minutes. 3000 & 5000 min valid for 24 months. There are no monthly charges. Do you already have the Iridum phone? The new Inmrasat Isat phones are much cheaper on the airtime rates and have just been updated to give data. Give me a call on 0274 909 323 if you want to work out the best way of running this.
