Odds of fixing this?

Mate of mine with a 485 (Swiss only version of something like a slightly larger 420) had a few problems a little while back and ended up flooded and floatign below the surface. The boat was recovered by the lake rescue services (charging him 1000 Bucks!! OUCH) and they dragged it to shore. once in the knee deep water he slid the trolley under it and with far too much brute force, hauled it out of the water on the trolly. It was still completely full of water, and got a wee bit damaged, see photos.

He's asked me if I can help him tickle life back into it. I'm kinda umming and ahhin (haa ing?) about whether it's worth it.

So here's a few photos and I'll ask for opinions...10102011027.jpg

To me she looks quite out of shape. Apparently, and I haven't seen the boat in the flesh yet, the concave damage 'pops' out when you take her of the trolly.

if that's so then perhaps laminating in some new stiff but springy stringers and some ribs, with plenty of glass tape and structural epoxy filleting.

Better ideas?
