muttley 0 Posted June 13, 2012 Share Posted June 13, 2012 I did the L.A - Tahiti race on BG a couple of months ago and was thinking the place is awesome, 2200 miles from Auckland but a very worth while trip. How many people out there are willing to take a event like this on?, It is a lot of work to get it all together and worth while if there was a fleet. Royal Akarana Yacht Club Offshore Committee will be meeting when everyone is back on dry land and discussing the next location. Our plan is to offer a wider variety of offshore races. Guest Posted June 14, 2012 Share Posted June 14, 2012 You could include the Aussies again as with Noumea race. Stage one Sydney or Bris to Auckland, Stage two Auckland Papeete, Stage three Papeete Noumea. Then everyone goes cruisng or goes home. Link to post Share on other sites
