wheels 543
First time I have seen it for sale. I haven't seen it in NZ yet, so if anybody does know of a NZ agent. let me know. Anyway, it's a Flexi Panel with a 22% efficiency. http://www.solbian.eu/index.php?lang=en
otto 31
http://www.solarstar.co.nz/120-watt-semi-flexible-slar-panel.html do a flex panel
wheels 543
What I was trying to say Otto, was that this is a new generation Panel with an efficiency of 22% which is extremely high for a Flexi panel. Flexi's have always been of very poor efficiency.
grant 40
isn't 22% pretty good compared to rigid panels also?
smithy09 50
They look pretty nice Wheels..
idlerboat 116
Been available for awhile..same output per size as fixed panel (ok about 7% less) but 50% (or more) retail price. Still "semi:" flexible. As in roll up, but not "scrunch up" My wish list is a bit more boot proof...and non slip. Then ....my coach roof will get a make over, and my aft solar panel frame will get ditched...
wheels 543
With Flexi panels that have been around for awhile now, the best possible Day and the panel in best possible position, you might get 12% efficiency from them, with about 7% being more the norm. So this particular Panel has a very high efficiency and as Grant has just stated, as high as the Solid panels. The best possible Solid panel is 24% and the norm is from 17 to 22%. Once again, talking about what is commonly on the market. Most of the really extreme performance panels are not available to the general consumer yet.
