smitty 4
Just driven past Cooksons yard & see Beau Geste sitting outside on a cradle. Anyone know what it's having done? Amazing looking boat from behind, looks like a formula racing windsurf board.
Guest
Yip! Chopping the boat up the middle and introducing some more rocker. With zero rocker it has had some issues.

Xntrix 0
Hydroflow was out of the mould of primo(?) and kept burying the bow. We added up to 100mm of foam to the bottom from the keel forward and wrapped it in Kevlar and glass. Easy peasy.
Guest
Very similar here too. Cut and tuck with foam/re shape from bow to stern. Keel attachment area re work and carbon here and there. Biff bash bosh and all done bruv.
sow1ld 2
Why the modifications? Was beau geste under performing out hard to sail?
