The Elliot is sailed with three? I was thinking that he might have showed some promise in something larger, say TP52 size.
-
So apart from the Red Bull Youth AC, there are no other examples of Burling winning on anything bigger than a dinghy with only two crew?
-
This is the bit that some of us need to recognise...
-
Nothing else? Ketchup, the question was regarding Burling, please do not reply with anything else.
-
Can anyone provide details of Burling winning where the crew number is greater than two?
-
Succession plan is in place?

I was thinking more along the customs flights looking for illegals/smugglers. Is there not some sort of border security monitoring NZ waters?
-
If the boat headed offshore, customs might have an idea on its location or direction of travel.

From SA.... Bumped against a freighter a couple of times before calling the Coast Guard and had some ropes around the props -
Years and years ago, when I had a full head of hair... I sailed with a gentleman that always looked like he slept under a railway bridge when he went sailing. Walking out the pier to the boat, people would avoid him like a bad smell. We found it funny as that gentleman owned a major retail chain of stores, and the gossip was that if he tried to spend his money, he would pass away from old age before he succeeded. Looks can be deceiving as Ashley and Old Girl have experienced.

You don't want to drill holes in frames, as it weakens them, the floors should be attached well to the frames. If drilling holes through the frame weakens the frame, why not make the frame bigger to cope with the hole being drilled through later? -
Ummm... You do know that at some stage you have to put it back together

It was the wrong colour

I hear the boat builder that is overseeing the repairs has them working 18 hour days, no time to post in more than one place

Psst... Follow this link and you get to see the photos without having to be part of the FB crowd https://www.facebook.com/Guate.The.Solo ... tos_stream It doesn't help Scubash's long term goal of "likes" for a potential sponsor but you will be able to see the photos

How about replacement plastic zipper for a HH jacket?

Mothership might be able to explain. When I first looked, I thought it was Ok until I noticed the flooring on the ceiling... I wonder what that says about me!

They are fine, the one below it is the problem child.

Offered my assistance in some palm tree pruning and ended up with a spike 2cm long in the back of my finger. White Cross to the rescue, spike removed, ultrasound tomorrow to check all removed. That palm is going to pay!!
