Hi Matt, i did not think of that as a drive unit. The intention is to do the next RNI so starting prep and research. I will definately give you a call at some stage as i want to setup a pc thay downloads weather gribs and is integrated into the b&g network if that makes sense?

Hi What is the best recomended sat phone taking price into consideration?

I am wanting to setup a good autopilot on Meister wihich has tiller steering so there are not many options out there. Currently running B&G zeus touch mfd with triton instruments so am looking at the Nac-2 autopilot corepack but need a drive unit for it. Am thinking of a linear drive unit? Are there any cost effective drive units that will work with this system? Or any other systems that people recomend?

One of my maxwells has a cracked base so seeing if anyone has one for parts or just kicking round in your garage?

The money we save by being on a pile mooring pays for all the toys on the boat. Would be 6k to go marina so we base our yearly budget on 6k which pays insurance, club membership, new sail every year plus the usual maintanance. Works well for us

Yes we will be doing trips closer to home and going places with sandy beaches!

We have since found out she had a virus and was just recovering after we got back. A few doctors appointments later they worked that out so wondering if it was just a coincidence. It was a fairly comfortable trip home 110 awa and the swell was going with us so was pretty smooth amd made for a quick trip.

She went very limp and then spewed up, and has never spewed like that before. She then had a sleep and was very energetic after that. It is the only time i have seen her lile that so thought it may be seasickness?

Just wondering if there is anything suitable for a 9 month old to help with sea sickness. Our little one got sick on the way back from barrier first time, have been kauwau and waiheke a few times and she has been fine so would just like to have something if she gets sick again
