How do they fix it now? Can you put some sort of funky cladding on the carpark walls that breaks up the wave action? Poor old white cav though.

I'm keen to bring Free Radical over the hill, but I'll probably have a hard time getting the crew since most of them will be doing the Wellington-Nelson race and/or the Nelson regatta. What can I say, it's a busy time of year. -
Hey, good footage for evans bay! It's a real shame being so close to the airport, with a small fleet like that a drone would be absolutely superb for that area on a light-wind day.

Except it's not even really "Oriental Bay residents". Unlike Lyall bay, any time the beach is in a condition worth visiting, it becomes massively overcrowded and not worth visiting. Any other time, the salt/sand is blowing over the road and making those lattes unsippable. IMO the beach is only good for those who can tolerate the absurd crowds it attracts. A tragedy of the commons in my eyes. I'm glad we have sailboats.

Spent the Saturday polishing up the boat for the Sunday race. Unfortunately, the paint is starting to delaminate where the foam of the trailer ribs meet the hull, probably osmosis, given how the foam is almost always damp.
