    Prop

Hi, just lost one of the blades off my prop - anyone got a second hand prop to sell that would fit onto an SD20 saildrive - Yacht is a Mull 9.5 Thanks
  3. To all the organisers, support people, ( and families) and the yacht clubs around the course - thanks for a great RNI race. For rigmarole it was a bit of an epic getting to the start line but the race lived up to its reputation, and made the effort worth it. It was great to meet and have a few beers with some of the other competitors. Thanks in particular to Dave, Ken, Lyndon, Sarah and Jacqui for making it possible and Gray at leading edge boatbuilders for doing the late nights to finish the work in time for the race. Happy sailing out there.
  4. Check BP on Jarvis Rd. I got a 4 kg filled there in Feb. we used to fill 9 kg bottles from 45 kg bottles all the time on Great Barrier (As suggested 45 kg bottle upside down, 9 kg bottle on scales - once pressure equalises, open venting value on 9 kg till weight obtained or liquid comes out)

    Vessel sunk

Yachts going down all over the place..... Sunk at mooring and then towed to shallow water but obviously not shallow enough
  6. Bloodly hard!! After the 'bang' he popped his head up and asked all apologetic like "has that starboard window always leaked?" -"No" I said - "O" he said "it does now!" And went back to bed...... No not really - it was a great trip apart from the damage. Hopefully fixed, cat 2 ed and insurance sorted by Race time.
  7. Bugger - the crack just got bigger...
  8. DOC and their rangers are between a rock and a hard place. We have one govt department pushing "100%Pure" to the world and another saying its acceptable for rivers to be "wadeable" (whatever the f#@k that is) We as boaties love these islands because of the environment, the bird life, and the access, that is frankly spectacular! We love the bird life yet some bloodly idiots let their dogs run free chasing nesting sea birds and/or letting them sh*t everywhere making the beaches just about unusable for people wanting to swim. So if you are a respondable dog owner make it YOUR respondiblity to
  9. Hi, does anyone have, or know when I can get a paddle wheel for a Navman 3100s log? Ours got blown off by the last water blasting (there's a lesson for me!) Thanks
  10. Thanks everyone, getting it looked at next week by Fng.
  11. Ok, anyone recommend a boatbuilder??
  12. Yes glassed in. Keel step in bottom left with wires from mast showing.
  13. Wonder if someone can advise me on someone who may be able to do Fibreglassing tapeing along the base of a bulkhead in westhaven at the beginning of December?? I got the standing rigging replaced in picton and crack has appeared along bulkhead on trip north. Getting hauled out on Dec 7th to redo antifoul so will be land based for a couple of days. I,m Christchurch based so all my tools etc down there. Thanks in advance.
