Duralac

I have welded up some stainless fittings that I need to attach to the alloy mast with Monel rivets. I don't have any Duralac to insulate the bits from each other and don't want to spend $50 for a tube. Have also made some s/s end caps for alloy tube that are a pretty snug fit. Are their any alternatives to duralac that will limit galvanic action between alloy and stainless? Cheap?

I  had some boatcloth and west system  lying around to hand so I glued that to the stainless to make shaped gaskets which stayed put.... Boom rack thing that landed in 4 places so it was quite handy. On the other hand , we removed a stainless plate up the rig recently and it was insulated with brown packing tape. Looked fine too.

Thank you all.

I love DIY solutions. It's unfortunate that you do tend to get on the treadmill of high tech (expensive) solutions such as Duralac when there are good simple alternatives. For the mast fitting I will use a cut out from an ice cream container lid as a buffer and lanocote on the rivets, and between the stainless end caps on the alloy tube, a wrap on plastic insulation tape.
