What's the word on Warpaint Antifoiling

Recommended Posts

The idea of using different colours was so that the skipper could tell when the fresh stuff was getting close to being gone. The older coat would start showing through. It is good to remember the areas that the latest coat has completely gone from and double up the coats of new stuff in those areas.

The boat had Coppercoat from new, unsure what was under that. I far as I knew it was the first coating. Micron 66 Black was applied directly to that coat because the Coppercoat wasn't working. The keel had to be coated lightly or not at all except for the bulb to avoid it being stuck in the raised position. All coats we put on was Micron 66 subsequently.

Spoke to a guy at Sandspit who was scrubbing barnacles off his launch. He was most disappointed with W&F Warpaint, 6 months and had a lot of growth!! His comment "Expensive mistake". I guess others may have had better results?
