Priscilla II 396
This caught my eye as to a easy way to get some extra purchase in a mainsheet.
Battleship 100
Yep, a fine tune is pretty common on race boats. Cruisers just need take the end of the sheet to a winch for extra grunt, a lot simpler.
Romany 162
Isn't that a lot of weight to be anchored thru the guard rail mounting? Or does the picture show the boat in park up mode
madyottie 82
Must be parked - otherwise performance on port tack might be a bit sus.
Island Time 1,246
Definitely Parked, like this so he can keep all the cockpit clears on, and therefore weathertight. Pretty common to do this on cruisers with the main in the cockpit, when at anchor. Lots of cruisers can't completely enclose the cockpit while sailing because of the traveler and mainsheet....
