ScottiE 174
So my old faithful decided to give up the ghost. Bought a new one from a swindlery yesterday - branded with their name on it - and waddya know - it don't whistle neither! I'll be taking it back today / tomorrow. Anyone recommend a good kettle that as well as boils water. - actually whistles?

Island Time 1,239
I have a mate with one that sounds like a damn steam train or ship whistle. Caused more than a few elevated heart rates over the years I understand ( including mine the 1st time I heard it!) Old though, never seen another like it.
