Priscilla II 392
She was in the mangroves at Rawene but has been towed to the Kohukohu side.
MuzzaB 14
She was a common sight around Waiheke in the '70s and early '80s when Johnny Wray was still active. This is sad to see.
El Toro 97
Very, Guessing that abandoned? He was my Great Uncle, Jeff Wray, his brother, was my Grandfather. But I found that out after he had died unfortunately.
AJ Oliver 154
Huge numbers of abandoned boats around, many because age and/or infirmity caught up with the owners. It would behoove all of us to make arrangements to pass our boats along before that time comes. In our case, the admiral & kids have zero interest in using or marketing the boat, so we will do a TOD title (transfer on death) from me to a local sailing non-profit. She's a beauty to me - but the rest of the family, not too much.
Priscilla II 392
Best to just have your estate sell your beauty and rather than burden the charity with the disposal process just gift them the proceeds.
Guest 000
She's a beauty to me - but the rest of the family, not too much. I understand your sentiments AJ. Your boat in the photo is a bit far away to fully appreciate but a nice looking vessel. Long may you enjoy her.
DrWatson 378
I think the Wray boat incredibly cool... I could see that as a project in my shed...

What charity is going to want a Mussel farm? Perhaps you need to change the “on death” to “when I’m not able to maintain it”
Priscilla II 392
I think the Wray boat incredibly cool... I could see that as a project in my shed...There are projects and then there are projects....Originally she was twin engined. Johnny and Loti certainly put quite a few miles under her keel with several trips to Tonga including Queensland.
