Meh .... Snitch finally booted me out.

Maybe you were in there too long hogging all the space so you got jettisoned. I have finally just managed to get into Snitch

Wind chokes TVS! 1545hrs Friday

"No chance for the record now, there is very little breeze in and around the Brett. Just got through the gap (no breeze outside or inside). Luckily the tide took us through . Now have a 5 knot breeze from 060. pretty ugly."

Wired smokes! 1600hrs

Wired has hit 20 knots of boatspeed just before the Poor Knights. They can see Limit ahead, but no-one behind.

Mid fleet round up 1555hrs Friday

Breeze is ON! Reports Force 11 who are two sail reaching towards sail Rock. Flyer is to leeward, and Frenzy to windward.

The Big Don't Argue are 2nm from the Hen. It's been a busy time on the little big boat who have changed from masthead kite to a fractional gennaker and staysail, to a number 2 genoa, as winds have built and gone west. 19 knots of wind speed, 10.5 knots of boatspeed.

Domino II are past Omaha, wind speed is a 20 knot Westerly. The boat is going well, the crew are good. probably because the skipper isn't yelling. Ham and cheese buns, chips and some cold beverages, and a small hole in the kite... but it's a great day!

Wooly Jumper witnessed Eye Spy lose their headsail haylard. A quick scamper up the mast retrieved it and they were away sailing again.

Kites up at the Heads 1538hrs Friday

It's kites up for Dirty Deeds at Whangarei Heads. Sundreamer has hoisted a reacher, and a keelboat (Wired?) is in sight.

Maybe. Managed to get back onto the tracking page, but most of the trackers have stopped anyway. Only Geralda is still tracking.

From the site

Whilst TVS hop from windless hole to windless hole, Stratocaster is past Tuts, in 15-20 knots SSW.

Fineline is outside the hen and chicks, with a gennaker up giving them 12-13 knots of boatspeed, and even better speeds in gusts. They've topped out at 17.1 knots whoo hoo!

Sababa has just gone back to a shy bag after a couple of hours under Jibtop. Beautiful sunny conditions and a fairly steady 17kts. Not Race Record material, but a lovely sail...
