Fish 0
Emirates Team New Zealand heath managers have advised that all sailors, shore crew and even those who are desk bound are banned from the use of dating apps such as Tinder, Bumble, Hinge and Grindr. Mwahahaha https://www.livesaildie.com/tinder-ban-for-emirates-team-new-zealand/?fbclid=IwAR3cTEtLSEiKl152sOHEavEtSSH_8sgkLiq7c5_SS5_dpib7g3WR6hIavSg PS, in this inclusive and enlightened world, its good to see Grindr wasn't left off the list
Kevin McCready 83
Pity about the lawn mowing, which is also a bad idea - big source of greenhouse gases and big destroyer of insect and bee habitat. Oh, and a waste of good sailing time.

The biggest risk to not being able to race, and blowing all those millions of $$$ spent on the campaign, is a team member catching covid, or at the least getting caught in the net of a close contact / casual plus contact etc, and having to isolate for two weeks. No training, or no racing if you have to isolate or quarantine. So management have put in a wide range of rules about not going out and about to minimise the risk of getting caught up in it. i.e. not allowed to go to the supermarket etc. They have just now expanded that to the young bucks in the crew who might feel the need to pull some slapper for some light relief on a Saturday night... who knows what they might catch there, most of which can be treated by antibiotics, but the risk of quarantining the team, or even parts of the shore crew for two weeks would warrant the intrusion into the boys after hours activities, I would have thought. Black Panther 1,586
It gets harder and harder to take this event seriously.
Romany 162
Surely this is click bait journalism? Either that or a mistimed April Fools joke? Either way, who really cares? I will admit I'm surprised to see LSD as the source. I thought they were better than that
Fish 0
Of course it is click bait journalism. Headlines announcing ETNZ have been banned from the supermarket is hardly going to get a lot of views, is it? I thought it was funny, but the underlying story is the team is taking the risk of covid, and disruption to training or racing due to isolating, very seriously. Fish 0
Lighten up Tamure, go smoke a joint or something. It might reinstate your sense of humour. If you take absolutely everything very seriously, you are going to feel the weight of the world on your shoulders. And not have much fun.
