aardvarkash10 1,056
Our spinnaker pole is stored in cradles on the side deck. Kinda ok but kinda gets in the way as well. I have seen them stored vertically on the mast and that looks convenient - is it?
Black Panther 1,674
Convenient yes, but weight , windage and just plain ugly.

Psyche 709
Do you use it? if not take it home otherwise the deck all day long on a boat your size.
Deep Purple 517
Friends don't let friends sail with a spinnaker pole up the mast
B00B00 317
On all of our bigger cruising boats we have had the pole stored on the mast and was very happy with it. But those were bigger boats with long and heavy poles. You need a track up the mast same length as your spinnaker pole to use that system as tbe pole butt end needs to be pulled up so it's bloody expensive. I think it's unnecessary on any boat under about 42ft. Great for making kids swings though!

ex Elly 217
Can also be stored on the boom. Attach a large ring at the front for the pole to slide through, and a small ring at the back to clip the beak onto.
