Chill Pill 1
Good luck to all competitors. Sail safe. And Skinner, for crying out loud, try and stay on the boat!
ab1974 1
Went down and watched the start. Good crowd turnout. Coppelia hit the line first and was flying. Krakatoa was last across the line about 5 minutes after the gun after experiencing some difficulties (jammed runner maybe??). Good luck guys!
Guest
saw the start along withh a great flock of spectators at westhaven, then watched it out the office window on north shore .. truxton is making the most of it....
SloopJohnB 317
Very nice tracker, love the interface with google maps, unlike the VOR with grey lumps for land. http://yb.tl/RNZTH
Battleship 100
Truxton is way out in front Danaide also doing well leading on IRC and second on PHRF, don't know whats happened to Krakatoa only doing 7.5 knots hope it's not serious.

Krakatoa was last across the line about 5 minutes after the gun after experiencing some difficulties (jammed runner maybe??). Good luck guys! They lost the jibe sheet just before the start and had to sort it out. Interesting tactics here with at least half of the fleet going inside while truxton just keeps on truxing. Guest
by the time most people have woken up the two front runners would have finished the race. krakatoa look like they could pounce on on the might of division b racing Truxton as they have been unable to sail with the kite anymore as they have slowly has to steer west. Theres only 24nm to go and there doing round 8kts so for line honours it could be all over by 7:am
Battleship 100
Looks like they have run out of wind at the finish, fast passage for all though Truxton sure is a fast little boat off the wind. Looks a bit gnarly on the west coast later in the week.

Guest
From Danaide We currently enjoying a beer at the Maungouni cruising club after a great ride up while others are looking at what is needed to fix some minor repairs for us on the boat. We hoisted a chicken shoot at rangi light and carried it all they way to Cape Rodney where they had the pole end fold up on the shoot and had to drop it and 2 sailed the rest of the way.
