Bazza, make sure you use the anode attached to the engine, after that system went in she was burning through the anodes on the shaft. Smithy, the system on Bazzas boat was put in by Gavin at Marine Electrics....I went down this path as I believe in doing it once only and after listening to Gavin, I figured that they were going to force the max system on people eventually, so thats what I put in....but thats not to say I didnt find it a complete pain in the arse having the lead attached to the boat though.

What about long distance motoring NZgrant? Do you find it faster/lower revs/better feul economy? We do alot of motoring for a boat with a mast unfortunately, and am keen to eek out a little more speed, am pondering them, but ye gods they are expensive

Yea I guess the point I was trying to make as not many people have come thru the ranks and bought, or even upgraded their boats in the racing scene in quite some time...certainly not in the space wehre the boat are used for dual purpose

Anchorage is rubbish in Fitzroy but the Fishing club is open year round, was there for the code few weeks back, had a few punters in it which made for some funn times
