Got about 40m to get home so will change oil and filter now and about halfway. Wheels, reluctant to do your tests if there is fuel in oil.Will do when home. Have never noticed smoke but dirty transom.

You need the services of a good rigger. If like me you will find your zhopping list getting shorter the more quotes come in. Could you revitalize your sheets and halyards in the washing machine. Stalock you can replace youself if you have the new cones. Pricey. Renew all splitpins. Turnbuuckles-free them up and put Lanocote? on the threads. Think everybody would say new rigging SS 1×18 wire. If you went the stalock way (I think about a hundy ea)you could do it all yourself if you are v competent

Put a trimtab on back of rudder with idea that autohelm can hook up to it, and be very low on power consumption. Is it possible this will work?(No windvane) Meanwhile it operates the tiller fine.

Hi, no fuel lift pump on her. New filter.Injectors back in, fuel shoots out of the 2 pipes, Diesel shop had no ideas. Will charge battery. Bloody mystery. Diesel gets to injectors but wont go. Try ether still no go.

Have one similar but different. Just tried with glowplugs out, holding newspaper over hole ( expect fuel blown out of hole) but naught showed on paper.

Done that and she spurts out the pipe ok. Dont see any movement in the clear return overflow hose.Thinks should see something happening?

Shibaura stopped the other day amd never really found fault. Anyway has been running good then yesterday replaced leaky hose to injector pump and wont go now. Checked glowplugs glow ok, spinning her over and fuel squirting to injectors.Even shot of ether didnt start. Suggestions plse.
